What is a scheduled tournament?

Tournaments that have a pre-announced fixed starting time are considered “scheduled.” In order to participate in one of these tournaments, you must sign up before registration closes. The registration closing time varies from tournament to tournament, but it is always announced in advance in the lobby. Keep in mind that many of our tournaments will allow you to register even after the specified start time, so please check the tournament lobby for details.

What is the entry fee for a Sit & Go tournament?

Tournament fees vary by buy-in. Generally, the entry fee for a tournament will be anywhere from 0% to 25% of the buy-in amount. Exact tournament fees are shown on the buy-in screen for each tournament.

How do I register for a Sit & Go?

Single-table Sit ‘n’ Go tournaments start as soon as the required number of players take a seat, with players choosing their seats on a first-come, first-served basis. Multi-table Sit ‘n’ Go tournaments start as soon as the required number of players have registered and randomly seated.

Can I deregister from the Sit & Go tournament at any time?

Players are allowed to de-register from a Sit ‘n’ Go tournament as long as not all the seats have been filled. Players can de-register from tournaments that allow late registrations until 15 minutes before play begins.

What are multi-table tournaments?

Multi-table tournaments challenge your poker skills and provide the chance to win big prizes for a small outlay. Every Multi-table tournament on BorgataPoker.com has a buy-in as well as an entry fee. The buy-in is added to the prize pool, while BorgataPoker.com keeps the entry fee. The prize pool is the product of the buy-in and the number of participants in a tournament. How do I register for a multi-table tournament?

Multi-table tournaments start at pre-determined times. To register, simply select the desired tournament from the lobby and click on the “Register” button.

Can I deregister from the multi-table tournament at any time?

Players are allowed to de-register from a Multi-table tournament up to 15 minutes before the tournament start time. However, players who register less than 15 minutes before the tournament start time will not be able to de-register.

How do I register for a shootout tournament?

Simply select the desired Shootout tournament from the lobby and click on the “‘Register”’ button. There are no late registrations for Shootout tournaments.

How do I know how many rounds will be in a shootout tournament?

The number of rounds in a Shootout tournament depends on the number of players that enter it. Please refer to the Shootout tournament section on our website.

If I win the round, when will I be paid?

The final three players at a table in each round will be paid immediately upon the round’s end. If you are in round 4, you will be paid according to the Multi-table payout schedule for the number of players in round 4.

Will I be eligible for extra starting chips?

No. Players are not eligible for extra starting chips in Shootout tournaments.

Can I register late for a shootout tournament?

Late registration for Shootout tournaments is not available.

What happens if a fourth round is required?

If round four is to be played, it will revert to a standard Multi-table format to end the tournament. Payoffs will be made based on the remaining prize pool. The standard BorgataPoker.com Multi-table payout structure, if less than 10 players start round 4, will be applied: 50% for first place, 30% for second place, and 20% for third place (the percentages are applied to the remaining prize pool).

When does the next round begin?

If you win and advance to the next round, it will begin once all tables have finished the current round. There will be a break of a few minutes before the next round commences.
