Shoot out satellites

We always want to add more excitement to your time at BORGATAPOKER.COM. That's why we've combined two off our favourite types of tournament to bring you the shootout satellite.

Offering the chance to win a shot at big prizes while enjoying some breakneck poker action, these new tournament will give you a truly unique buzz. The two types of shootout satellite you can get stuck into are:

  • Double Shootout
  • Triple Shootout

Double shootout

In a double shootout tournament, you'll need to play through two rounds to claim the final prize. The last player left at each table at the end of round one will progress to the final table, where the player who takes first place will also take down the prize.

The diagram below shows how this would work for a 10-seater double shootout tournament starting with 80 players on eight full tables.

80 players join the tournament and Tourney starts with 8 tables
Each table will have 1 winner and the end of the Round 1 there will be 8 players remaining
Eight players will join the final table in Round 2. Chips will be reset for all the players
Tournament will end when there will be 1 winner and will get entry to X Tournament

Triple shootout

In a triple shootout tournament, you'll need to play through three rounds to claim the final prize. The last player left at each table at the end of round one will progress to round two. This process repeats in round two, with the top player on each table going through to the final table, where the player who takes first place will also take down the prize.

The diagram below shows how this would work for a 10-seater triple shootout tournament starting with 1,000 players on 100 full tables

1000 players join the tournament and Tourney starts with 100 tables
Each table will have 1 winner and in the end of the Round 1 there will be 1oo players remaining
100 players will participate in Round 2 on 10 tables
Round 2 will end with 10 players at the end
Round 3 will start with 10 players on the final table
At the end of Round 3 we will have a winner
